The Golden Visa Program is Ending

🚨 Breaking News! The Golden Visa Program is Ending — Don’t Miss Your Last Chance! 🚨

Starting April 3, 2025, Spain will no longer issue the famous Golden Visa — the residency permit for non-EU citizens in exchange for property investments of €500,000 or more. The law, published on January 2, will take effect three months after its publication.

🤔 What does this mean for investors?

1️⃣ Existing Permits
If you already have a Golden Visa, don’t worry! Your permit will remain valid, and you can renew it under the current rules.

2️⃣ Transition Period
Applications submitted before April 3 will still be processed under the old rules, and renewals will follow the regulations in place at the time of the original issuance.

👥 Who’s affected by this change?
Previously, the Golden Visa was not only available for property buyers but also for:
💼 Investors in Spanish government bonds (€2M+)
📈 Investors in Spanish companies (€1M+)
📊 Participants in investment funds or holders of bank deposits (€1M+)
🏢 Entrepreneurs with business projects recognized as beneficial to Spain.

💡 Why is the Golden Visa being phased out?
Discussions about its cancellation started years ago. In April 2024, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez confirmed the government’s plans, and the decision was finalized through amendments to the judicial system reform bill.

⏳ Don’t miss your last chance!
You have until April 3, 2025, to submit your application. After this date, it will no longer be possible to obtain a Golden Visa.
